Rise 2022 Global Winner Apple WWDC Scholar 2021-22 AUSSEF Nominated Project
I was selected as a member of the second cohort of 100 Rise Global Winners, an initiative of the Rhodes Trust and Schmidt Futures, from more than 80,000 applicants. Rise is a program that finds brilliant people who need opportunity and supports them as they work to serve others for life. For two years I created winning projects coded in Swift. For my 2021 project I developed an interactive education platform for students in rural Australia with poor internet connections. In 2022 I developed an app that would teach individuals about privacy and cybersecurity and what they could do to ensure both. My research report titled "EmSafe: Investigating the Emergency Call Service in Australia and the development of a modern and efficient contact system" was nominated by the Australian Science and Engineering Fair's ISEF Selection Panel as one of nine projects for ISEF 2023.

EmSafe is a free travel app that allows you to access emergency services in over 230 regions worldwide and provides you with up to date and accurate information wherever you are. The Random Web is a project I created for my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award during Coronavirus Lockdowns in 2020. The application randomly sends you to any of the top one million websites and was inspired by The Useless Web.
